A one-day symposium on delay equations was organized in Utrecht in February 2019 by Odo Diekmann, Stephan van Gils, Yuri Kuznetsov and Sjoerd Verduyn Lunel. Among the participants there was consensus that it would be a good idea to have an informal regional meeting about delay equations more regularly.

So, the second meeting happened in Hasselt on Friday 11 October 2019. It was organized by Maikel Bosschaert (Hasselt), Sebastiaan Janssens (Utrecht) and Peter de Maesschalck (Hasselt).

The third meeting was held online on October 1st and 2nd, 2020. It was organized by Maikel Bosschaert (Hasselt), Sebastiaan Janssens (Utrecht) and Babette de Wolff (then Berlin, now VU Amsterdam).

On May 12th and 13th, 2022 we will have the fourth installment of the Delay Days, with a mix of local and non-local speakers in a hybrid format.
